My daughter-in-law is going to be having a shower to welcome my new Granddaughter!!
I made her a quilt for the shower and beyond.
I got the idea from here:
Quilting Works
I had "M" go with me to pick out the fabric that she liked since it would be living in the baby's room on the wall (hopefully for years to come).
Here are some things I did to put it together.
First I cut out all the pieces and sewed them together to get the top.
Next I made a paper pattern for the pockets and the watering can (I had two different can ideas).
Added the pockets.
Added the watering can.
Added some hand embroidery and some store bought applique butterflies
Quilted it, binded it, and presto..............
On the watering can it will say the date of the shower. On the square with the "Grow" it will say the baby's name, birthday, birth weight and length.
The other blank white squares are for the shower guests to sign.
SO FUN!!!

How Smart are you?
This is what I got:
Congratulations! You are smarter than 84% of the global population!
Well done! You are in the 'top' 16% of the population and have a reasonable chance of surviving many tricky travel situations!
