Day Four

Here I am again, my fourth day of blogging.

I am really having a good time with this, but I must say, it's harder than it looks.
I took some pictures, as promised.

First I would like to share a picture of the quilt I am currently working on, it's still not done, as you can see:

I really love the fabric, it's all my favorite colors. I can't wait to get it all done and it's very, very close.

Here are some other projects that I have finished:

It's kinda hard to tell, but it says Precious, which is her name :0)

Here's a hat I knitted, I really love this yarn!
Well, it's time for bed
I hope you enjoy the new pics!

Day Three

Day Three, and I am still blogging :0)

The weekend went by way too fast, but on the bright side, with the help of my beautiful and talented daughter in law, I was able to make much progress on the quilt. All that is left to do is the hand sewing which I will have done in the next few days.

I really need to get some pictures. I am going to work on getting my knit projects together and posting some pics, I promise.

I gotta say, after spending the last few days reading other people's blogs, I'm a bit intimidated, I am nowhere near as good as most every other blog owner I have read.

However, I shall continue to plug along, knitting and blogging.

Well, it's off to bed already, the evenings go by so much faster than the work day :(

I wish someone would actually visit us and post some comments.

Good night moon

Day Two

Well, here I am another day, another post.
Yesterday was great.

I hung out with Marinda all day and we got a lot done on the quilt that I have been working on for way TOO long, it is a kit that Joe and Marinda bought me for Christmas.

I have made only one other quilt and it was one I made for my Grandson, Kasen.

I don't have a picture of the quilt but I will take one later on today and add it to this post. Anyway, it is made from a bedspread that my mother had made for my son over 20 years ago.
I hope to add more stuff to this blog very soon, this being my first one and all, I'm having to learn as I go.
I will write more here later.

My very first post :)

I have no idea what I am doing.
My daughter in law and I LOVE to knit and wanted a way to share our projects as well as seeing others.
Our hope is to bring together people like us, people who love to knit but just don't have the time or the means to make it to conventional knitting circles or the patience to wait months to be invited to an online knitting group with tons of bells and whistles.
We will share our hopes and dreams and projects and hopefully others will join us and make this a great place to visit.

This is one of my favorite projects:

Marinda (my daughter in law) and I are most recently playing with Entrelac, it's so FUN

Here is a picture of my first attempt:
